The Tara Players are putting on several performances of Coolatully. Follow Killian, a once famous hurler, as he is forced to confront his demons, and make decisions whether to stay in Ireland or move abroad in this play about love, courage, and pride.

‘Gym Basics for Beginners’

Time: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Are you unfamiliar or intimidated by the idea of going to the gym or are you sometimes unsure how to properly and effectively utilize gym equipment? If so, come and attend this seminar which will teach you the basics of how to properly use the machines safely and effectively! There are only 10 spots left, so be sure to sign up soon!

‘Magically Scientific- A Fairy Tale Science Day’

Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Location: Richardson College for the Environment & Science Complex (599 Portage Ave)

Bring the kids and teach them that they can do (and be) anything they want to! Explore the science and scientists of many of your child’s favourite television shows and books, from Lilo & Stitch to Beauty and the Beast. Bring your friends, and learn the challenging and dexterous game of Crokinole over a delicious brunch at The Good Will Social Club. For those of you unfamiliar with Crokinole, it’s described as a fun and challenging cross between marbles and curling!

Relax and enjoy Victoria Day by getting outside, tasting some of the amazing food that West End businesses have to offer, and walk through any of the open air parks in the West End! From walking through Saigon Park to having some delicious pizza at Sorrento’s, there’s something for everyone to do this Victoria Day in the West End!

One Week until Mural Tours Start- Book Now!!!

Mural tours are officially starting next Monday, May 28! Explore the West End, its beautiful artwork, and hear the history of the many murals which adorn the businesses of the West End. Travel through the West End with our tour guide Taryn, as you learn about the history of the West End and Winnipeg too!
